Some things make us want to roll our eyes. Other things make us want to leap to our feet with excitement.

This Canada Day, we’re making room for both.

Join us for an evening of playful expression, laughter, creativity, and authentic connection as we explore the things that frustrate us, delight us, inspire us, and make us feel fully alive. Through a variety of engaging individual, paired, and group experiences, we’ll discover what happens when we give ourselves permission to speak up, loosen up, share our enthusiasm, and make new connections along the way.

The evening will be facilitated by guest facilitator Teresa Camilleri, whose love of improvisation, creative expression, community leadership, and public speaking brings a playful spirit to everything she does.

Whether you’re passionate, opinionated, dramatic, shy, expressive, thoughtful, or simply curious, you’ll find a welcoming space to participate at your own comfort level. Participation is encouraged but never required. No special skills are needed. Just bring your voice, your sense of humour, and your willingness to play.

Falling on Canada Day, this special gathering celebrates one of our greatest freedoms: the freedom to speak, laugh, express ourselves, and share what matters most in the company of others.

Expect laughter, surprising insights, lively conversations, new connections, and the joy that comes from being fully yourself in good company.

As always, arrive at 6:30 PM with a food contribution to share. Our circle begins at 7:30 PM.

Wonderful Wednesday gatherings are supported by voluntary donations.

And if the stars align and our resident fireworks wizard makes an appearance, we may finish the evening with a little extra Canada Day sparkle under the summer sky.
