Not romantic love and not sentimentality\, but the steady\, radiant Love that sees the divine in every person — and within ourselves\, our own sacred soul-mate. \nLed by Heidi Last\, this evening draws from Alan Watts\, Christian mysticism\, and the Baha’i teachings\, which describe Love as the animating force of the universe: the reason for creation\, the foundation of unity\, and the essential bond between all hearts. \nIn the Baha’i writings\, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá reminds us: \n“Love is the most great law that ruleth this mighty and heavenly cycle… the supreme magnetic force that directeth the movements of the spheres in the celestial realms.” \nThis vision of divine Love completes our Advent journey — expanding from Hope to Peace\, to Joy\, and now into the fullness of Love. \nThemes Heidi may explore \n• Love as a unifying force: humanity as one family\, woven from a single spiritual origin \n• Love as service: genuine love expressed through kindness\, action\, upliftment \n• Love as the foundation of unity: how true community grows through compassion \n• Seeing the divine in others: dissolving separation\, softening judgement \n• Love as spiritual radiance: the inner Light honoured across traditions \nThe Heart of the Evening \nIn this gathering\, Love is not a destination but a practice — breath by breath\, gesture by gesture.
