In the process\, we can lose touch with the rich landscape of sensation\, intuition\, creativity\, and aliveness that exists beneath the constant activity of the mind. \nOn Wednesday\, June 10th\, Wonderful Wednesdays welcomes special guest facilitator Ann-Marie Boudreau for an evening of gentle exploration into the embodied path of Tantra. \nContrary to common misconceptions\, Tantra is not primarily about sexuality. At its heart\, Tantra is a path of presence—an invitation to awaken to the fullness of life through the body\, the senses\, and direct experience. \nDrawing on decades of experience as a sound doula\, soundwork practitioner\, multi-instrumentalist\, recording artist\, and Reiki Master\, Ann-Marie will guide participants through a series of experiential practices designed to help quiet the analytical mind and reconnect with the wisdom of the body. \nTogether we will explore: \n• Practices that help release the stress and momentum of daily life and bring awareness into the body. \n• Gentle movement and sensory exercises that encourage fluid expression and embodied presence. \n• Opportunities to listen inwardly and reconnect with your innate wisdom and natural vitality. \n• A supportive\, non-judgmental environment that honours personal boundaries\, comfort levels\, and individual experience. \nThis evening is suitable for anyone curious about mindfulness\, embodiment\, creativity\, authentic self-expression\, personal growth\, or the deeper dimensions of human experience. No previous experience with Tantra is required. \nAbout the Facilitator \nAnn-Marie Boudreau\, ARCT\, is a sound doula\, soundwork practitioner\, multi-instrumentalist\, recording artist\, and certified Reiki Master who has spent more than two decades facilitating experiential workshops\, sound journeys\, and private sessions that help people dissolve barriers to authentic expression and reconnect with their deeper nature. \nHer work integrates sound\, movement\, meditation\, creativity\, and intuitive awareness. Drawing inspiration from sacred vocal traditions\, fine arts\, dance\, mindfulness practices\, and the natural world\, she creates experiences that invite participants into greater presence\, freedom\, and self-discovery. \nAs a composer and recording artist\, her improvisational vocal albums explore an ancient vocal tradition often referred to as “light-language.” In Scotland\, part of her ancestral homeland\, this sacred form of vocalizing is known as Amrun. Long before social media\, podcasts\, or even books\, people gathered around fires\, kitchen tables\, and in community circles to sing together. A shared song has a unique way of turning strangers into friends and reminding us that we belong to something larger than ourselves. \nJoin us for an evening of live music\, community participation\, and shared enjoyment in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Wonderful Wednesday. \nThis special evening will feature a variety of musical styles\, from heartfelt originals and folk favourites to Celtic-inspired melodies\, medicine songs\, acoustic performances\, classic sing-alongs\, and spontaneous musical offerings from members of our community. \nOur Musical Director\, Handy Andy\, will be joined by fellow musicians for a performance that weaves together guitar\, harmonica\, fiddle\, bass\, and traditional Celtic influences. Additional performers will be added to the lineup as the evening approaches. \nThis is not simply a concert. It is an opportunity to experience music as it was enjoyed for most of human history: in community. Some songs will invite quiet listening. Others will encourage participation\, with simple choruses and familiar melodies that everyone can join. \nMusic has a unique ability to bypass our differences and remind us of our shared humanity.
