SUMMARY:Vision Board Workshop: Envisioning a Joy-Filled Year
DESCRIPTION:Images remember \nWhat the mind forgets to trust \nJoy finds direction  \nThis reflective evening invites you to pause\, listen inwardly\, and consciously shape the year ahead. \nRather than focusing on goals we think we should have\, this process engages the BodyMind; allowing deeper values\, longings\, and qualities of experience to reveal themselves naturally. When we come into alignment with what truly matters to us\, we become a powerful magnet for more pleasing and meaningful results. \nWe’ll begin with a gentle group discussion about dreams\, intentions\, and what brings genuine satisfaction. I’ll then guide a short visualization to help you sense into a year of lived results: Not a fantasy life\, but a grounded\, nourishing one. \nFrom this place of clarity\, you’ll create a personal vision board using images\, words\, and symbols that speak to your imagination and felt sense. No artistic skill is required; only curiosity and openness. \nThis is not about forcing outcomes. It’s about listening\, aligning\, and letting direction emerge. \n⸻ \nWhat’s Included \n   •   A 3-hour facilitated workshop \n   •   Guided reflection and visualization \n   •   All materials provided \n   •   A pot of vegetarian soup and ginger tea to share \n(Feel free to bring additional snacks if you wish.) \nYou’re welcome to bring your own images from magazines\, calendars\, brochures\, or personal photos. I’ll also have plenty of shared materials available. \n⸻ \nDate & Time \nFriday\, 6 February \n6:30–9:30 pm \n⸻ \nInvestment \n   •   $44 if paid in advance by 31 January \n   •   $55 thereafter \nPayment: \nE-transfer to MarielCamilleri@yahoo.com \nPlease include “Vision Board Workshop” in the message field. \n⸻ \nRegistration \nSpace is limited to keep the group intimate. \nYour spot is confirmed once payment is received.

SUMMARY:One Minute Marketplace
DESCRIPTION: Potluck begins at 6:30 pm. Please bring a healthy food contribution to share. \n Circle begins at 7:30 pm \nSouth Etobicoke studio. Address provided upon RSVP. \n RSVP required. Message or text to save your seat. \n All are welcome. By donation. \n\nA place to share what you’re building\, offering\, or looking for \nRoots speak underground. Stories travel face to face. Something new takes hold. \nOn February 11\, Wonderful Wednesdays becomes a living marketplace of human connection: a place where gifts and needs are spoken aloud\, where ideas meet opportunity\, and where something new is allowed to emerge through real conversation. \nWhether you are offering a service\, growing a business\, seeking a new job or home\, looking for deeper connections in friendships or romance\, or quietly nurturing a dream\, this evening invites you to step into visibility and be met by your community. \nHow the evening flows \nThe first hour is our shared potluck: eating\, relaxing\, and reconnecting. \nThe 2-hour workshop that follows unfolds as a guided circle of exchange. \nEveryone who wishes to will have one minute to speak into the circle and share what they are offering or looking for: a service\, a project\, a collaboration\, housing\, companionship\, skills\, or support. There is no selling pressure here; only the simple power of being seen and heard. \nIn addition\, three community members will be invited to give a longer TED-style talk\, sharing more deeply about what they are building\, what they care about\, or what they are calling into their lives. \nIf you would like to be considered for one of these longer shares\, please text or email Mariel with a brief description of what you would like to present. \nPreference will be given to regular Wonderful Wednesdays community participants. \nThis is not a networking event in the conventional sense. It is a village gathering; where commerce\, creativity\, and connection arise naturally when people speak their truth in a circle. \nCome as you are. \nBring what you need. \nOffer what you can.

SUMMARY:RADIANCE: Where Beauty\, Body & Being Meet
DESCRIPTION:A Valentine’s Day Invitation for Women. An Embodied Journey into Self-Worth. The Art of Being Seen — held in sisterhood. \nMost women learn early how to manage how they are seen — when to soften\, when to hide\, when to perform\, and when it feels safer to disappear altogether. \nRadiance is a gentle five-hour Valentine’s Day experience for women who are ready to stop managing themselves and begin inhabiting themselves. This is not a class\, a performance\, or a photoshoot. Nothing is required\, and everything is invitational. \nThrough embodied practices\, creative expression\, and being witnessed in sisterhood\, we create the conditions for self-worth to be felt — not explained\, achieved\, or earned. This is the art of being seen\, at your own pace\, in your own skin. \nThe Experience & Benefits \nRadiance is an experiential journey that moves from the stories held in the mind into the truth held in the body. Through the intersection of Neurographic Art\, somatic integration\, sacred mirroring\, and intimate portraiture\, participants are invited to soften inner defenses and remember their natural radiance — without performance or pressure. \nNeural Re-Patterning: Use Neurographics to gently soften inner criticism and long-held conditioning. Through the creative process\, we support the nervous system in forming new\, more supportive responses to visibility and self-expression. \nSomatic Integration: Move from thinking about self-worth to feeling it as a grounded\, embodied reality. Through gentle movement and body awareness\, self-worth becomes something the body can recognize and inhabit. \nThe Power of the Mirror: Experience guided witnessing and reflection within a supportive circle. These practices offer a reparative experience of being received exactly as you are\, helping to unwind early patterns of invisibility or self-protection. \nSacred Portraiture: This is not a photoshoot. It is a quiet\, embodied meditation in the art of being seen\, entered only after safety\, presence\, and self-connection have been established. With gentle guidance\, the lens becomes a sacred mirror — capturing essence rather than pose — creating a lasting personal anchor of your internal shift. \nMeet Your Guides \nViktoria is a trauma-informed holistic intimacy coach and somatic de-armouring practitioner with decades of experience supporting women\, men\, and couples to restore connection\, rebuild trust\, and reclaim desire and passion—on your terms. She guides the Neurographics process to soften subconscious blocks and integrate fragmented parts into deeper coherence. Viktoria also leads the Sacred Portraiture experience\, using her trained artistic eye to help participants feel truly seen in a way that feels authentic\, grounded\, and self-honouring. \nMariel is a longtime practitioner of somatic and body-based work\, with decades of experience supporting women to feel safe\, present\, and at home in their bodies. She specializes in creating the conditions where self-worth can be received\, not forced — gently guiding participants out of self-monitoring\, freeze\, or collapse and back into embodied presence. Throughout the day\, Mariel tends the nervous-system field of the group\, ensuring each woman moves at her own pace and remains connected to choice\, safety\, and lived experience. Her role is to help the transformation land not just as insight\, but as something the body recognizes as true. \n_____________________________ \nPrivacy & the Sacred Container \nTo ensure autonomy\, confidentiality\, and emotional safety\, the photography portion is conducted using each participant’s own personal phone. While Viktoria provides professional direction and captures the images\, all photos remain on your device. \nThis practice is about your relationship with yourself. The lens acts as a sacred mirror — and you hold full ownership of the gallery. \nIMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not wear any fragrances (synthetic). Essential oils are welcome. \n________________ \nWhat to Bring \nTo support a nourishing and embodied experience\, please bring: \n• Sacred Portraiture Attire: 2–3 pieces of clothing or fabric that help you feel both sensual and sovereign. Think draped fabrics\, textures that feel good against the skin\, or an outfit that represents the woman you know yourself to be. \n• Communal Nourishment: A healthy food item to share during our integration lunch. \n• Personal Comfort: A yoga mat\, a closed water bottle\, and any small items that help you feel grounded and supported. \n• An Open Heart: And a willingness to meet yourself with curiosity and kindness. \n__________ \nDetails \n\nValentine’s Day: Saturday\, February 14\nFrom 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM\n@Studio 202\, 43 Towns Rd\, Etobicoke\n $125 Early Bird | $150 Day Of\n\nSpace is intentionally limited to 12 women to maintain an intimate and potent container. \nStep out of the shadows and into the warmth of your own light.\nSecure your place in the circle and begin your return to Radiance. \nIn supportive super sistehood love\,\nViktoria & Mariel

\n\nGuest Facilitator: Eldon Wingay\, RMT \nFounder of Active Balancing Therapy (ABT) and Spring Power Qigong Yoga \n⸻ \nTheme of the Evening \nRapid Relief for Pain\, Stiffness & Restricted Movement \nUsing Active Balancing Therapy (ABT) and Speed-Based Qigong \nMost of us carry long-standing tension\, postural habits\, and old injuries that quietly shape how we move\, breathe\, and feel. This evening offers a chance to experience a faster\, more direct way of releasing those patterns — not by forcing the body\, but by waking up its own self-correcting intelligence. \nEldon will demonstrate how neuro-myofascial balancing and speed-based movement can quickly reduce pain\, restore mobility\, and re-educate the nervous system for greater ease and strength. \n⸻ \nWhat Eldon Will Share \nYou’ll experience and observe: \n• Active Balancing Therapy (ABT) — a hands-on and movement-based system that rapidly relieves pain and restores alignment \n• Neuro-Myo-Fascial Energetic Mobilization — releasing stuck patterns in muscles\, fascia\, and the nervous system \n• SpeedStrength & SpeedMobility exercises — simple\, powerful movements that reprogram coordination\, stability\, and flow \n• Real-time demonstrations for back\, neck\, shoulders\, hips\, knees\, and more \n(Some exercises are done on the floor — bring a yoga mat if you like.) \n⸻ \nAbout Eldon \nEldon Wingay\, RMT has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2008 and has practiced Chinese Medicine\, acupuncture\, Qigong remedial exercise\, and Shiatsu-Tuina bodywork for many years. \nThrough decades of hands-on work\, his approach evolved into a faster\, simpler\, and more effective method called Active Balancing Therapy (ABT) — designed to help people move out of pain and into strength\, balance\, and freedom. \nHis work supports: \n• Pain relief \n• Injury recovery \n• Mobility and flexibility \n• Postural correction \n• Athletic performance \n• Nervous system regulation \nEldon works with children\, adults\, and elite athletes. \nEldon’s clinic is located at \n124 Merton St\, Unit 100\, Toronto \nHe offers a free 10-minute phone consultation \n📞 416-801-9090 \n⸻ \nWhy This Fits Wonderful Wednesdays \nThis is not just about fixing pain — it’s about learning how to live in a body that feels good to inhabit. \nEldon’s work bridges ancient Qigong wisdom and modern neuro-fascial science\, making it perfect for our community of curious\, embodied\, and growth-oriented humans. \nCome eat\, connect\, and discover how quickly your body can change when the right signals are applied.

SUMMARY:What the Mind Forgot: Breathwork Ceremony for Grounding\, Clarity & Emotional Release
DESCRIPTION:What the mind forgot \nThe body has been holding \nTruth waits in the breath \nThis three-hour breathwork ceremony offers a grounded\, trauma-aware space to release what the body has been carrying\, and to reconnect with its innate intelligence. When the breath becomes rhythmic and intentional\, the body can shift out of stress responses and into a state where emotional release\, clarity\, and integration are possible. \nThis ceremony weaves together: \n    \n•   Conscious connected breathwork \n   •   Purposeful movement to release stored emotion\, soften body-held tension\, and restore natural energetic flow \n   •   Carefully curated medicine songs and sacred resonant sounds  \n   •   Periods of stillness for integration \n   •   A closing circle to ground and witness the experience together \nThe process is guided\, trauma-aware\, and paced with care. Participation is always invitational; sharing is never forced and is honoured at each person’s comfort level. \n⸻ \nWhy Breathwork? \nBreathwork can support: \n   •   Nervous system regulation \n   •   Emotional release and integration \n   •   Increased presence and vitality \n   •   Grounding and clarity \n   •   Reconnection with body-based truth \nMany people leave feeling lighter\, clearer\, and more aligned: not because something was added\, but because something unnecessary was allowed to fall away. \n⸻ \nFacilitation \nThis ceremony is facilitated by Mariel Camilleri\, a body-centred practitioner with over 45 years of experience in somatic therapies\, breathwork\, movement\, and embodied awareness. Her background includes Hakomi-informed somatic psychotherapy\, Postural Integration\, Clarity Breathwork\, yoga teacher training\, and decades of hands-on work with the nervous system. \nMariel is known for creating spaces that are grounded\, humane\, and deeply respectful of each person’s inner timing. \n⸻ \nEvent Details \nDate: Saturday\, February 21 \nTime: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM \nInvestment: \n• $99 if paid by February 15 \n• $111 thereafter \nPlease send your e-transfer payment to  \n<marielcamilleri@yahoo.com> \n⸻ \nWhat to Bring \n   •   Yoga mat \n   •   Blanket \n   •   Pillow \n   •   Eye covering (optional) \n   •   Comfortable clothing \n   •   Water bottle \nPlease arrive having eaten lightly (no heavy meal 2–3 hours before). \n⸻ \nImportant Information \nThis breathwork ceremony is a personal growth and wellness experience and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care. \nBreathwork may not be appropriate for individuals who are pregnant or who have a history of severe cardiovascular conditions\, epilepsy\, recent major surgery\, untreated PTSD\, or psychosis. SUMMARY:Nonviolent Communication — Deepening Practice
DESCRIPTION:Cultivating empathy through practice and real conversation. \nNonviolent Communication (NVC)\, as developed by Marshall Rosenberg\, supports us in giving and receiving from the heart. By learning to listen for the feelings and needs beneath words\, we create the possibility of deeper understanding\, mutual care\, and more harmonious relationships. Join us to explore and strengthen your capacity for empathy\, clarity\, and authentic connection through guided practice and real-life exploration. \nNonviolent Communication (NVC) is a practical and compassionate approach to communication that helps people connect with their own needs and the needs of others so that everyone’s needs can be honoured as fully as possible. When practised in this spirit\, giving can feel joyful and natural\, and receiving can feel nourishing and welcome. NVC supports relationships rooted in authenticity\, respect\, and mutual understanding. \nThis workshop is facilitated by Sylvie Ducharme\, who brings about ten years of personal practice in Nonviolent Communication along with several years of teaching experience. She offers a grounded and supportive learning environment where participants can deepen their understanding and practical application of NVC. \nAs part of the session\, Sylvie will share a short video segment featuring Marshall Rosenberg\, whose ability to embody the essence of Nonviolent Communication offers a powerful model for learning. The video portion will be brief\, allowing ample time for experiential practice. \nParticipants will engage in guided exercises\, discussion\, and opportunities for questions. When appropriate and comfortable\, we may explore real-life situations or relationship challenges using the NVC framework. Working with authentic examples often provides one of the most meaningful ways to build skill and confidence. \nA central focus of the workshop will be the practice of empathy. Participants will learn to listen for underlying feelings and needs and practise offering empathic reflections in a way that feels respectful and supportive. Handouts will be provided\, including both concise and expanded lists of feelings and needs vocabulary to support learning at different levels of familiarity. \nWe will begin with identifying feelings and gradually expand into recognising needs\, allowing participants to experience both offering and receiving empathic presence. Many people find this process deeply connecting and supportive. \nThis workshop is held in a safe\, respectful\, and welcoming environment where participants can deepen their understanding of Nonviolent Communication and strengthen their capacity for compassionate connection.

SUMMARY:Spanish Practice Through Song & Circle
DESCRIPTION:A new monthly event! \nSpanish speaking & singing practice \nSing. Speak. Stay in Spanish. \nA monthly immersion circle for those with some existing Spanish who want to grow confidence through song\, call-and-response\, shared rhythm\, and cultural exploration — without classroom pressure or performance. \n\nThis gathering is a Spanish-forward practice space designed for people who already have a basic conversational familiarity with Spanish and want to strengthen ease\, pronunciation\, comprehension\, and confidence by using the language — not studying it. \nThe evening begins with a relaxed potluck dinner\, followed by a guided group circle held primarily in Spanish. We sing Latin American medicine songs using Spotify or live accompaniment\, practice pronunciation through call-and-response\, and engage in simple speaking exercises that encourage participation without putting anyone on the spot. \nShort instructional videos may be used to clarify common challenges such as ser / estaror desde / hace\, always in service of staying in the language rather than slipping back into English. We may also watch brief Spanish-language videos focused on travel\, culture\, history\, or food — offering inspiration as well as listening practice. \nThis is not a class\, and it is not for absolute beginners. \nIt is a supportive practice container where mistakes are welcome\, fluency grows through repetition\, and confidence builds by resisting the easy fallback to English. \nNative and fluent Spanish speakers are warmly welcomed — your presence helps hold the field and enriches the experience for everyone. \n⸻ \nFormat \n6:30–7:30 pm \nPotluck dinner & informal conversation \n7:30–9:30 pm \nGroup circle: singing\, speaking\, listening\, and cultural immersion \n(Primarily held in Spanish) \n⸻ \nWhen \nFourth Thursday of each month \nBeginning February 26 \n⸻ \nEnergy Exchange \n$10–30 sliding scale \nPlease contribute at a level that feels fair and sustainable for you. \n⸻ \nHaiku \nVoices cross borders \nStories carried on rhythm \nThe world feels closer
