SUMMARY:Moments Revealing Unity: Abundance Beyond Uniformity
DESCRIPTION:What if abundance is not found in sameness\, but in difference — not in uniformity\, but in relationship? \nThis evening invites a quiet\, thoughtful exploration of unity as something that emerges\, rather than something imposed. \nPeggy and Bill Wittman have spent decades facilitating youth groups\, small-group discussions\, and experiential retreats rooted in a deep philosophical and spiritual curiosity about what it means to live whole\, connected lives. Their work has long explored the meeting point between our physical experience and our spiritual understanding — not as separate realms\, but as aspects of a single\, unfolding human life. \nIn recent years\, Bill has turned to photography as a contemplative practice\, using images to explore what are often called the primary spiritual transcendentals: Unity\, Beauty\, Goodness\, and Truth. His photographs do not instruct or persuade; instead\, they offer moments of perception — small openings where unity can be sensed rather than defined. \nDuring this evening gathering\, participants will be invited into conversation around the distinction between unity and uniformity\, and how this distinction shapes our understanding of abundance. Through shared viewing of photographs and guided discussion in small groups\, we will explore how difference\, diversity\, and particularity may be not obstacles to unity\, but its very source. \nThis is not a lecture or a therapeutic workshop. It is a reflective\, participatory evening — an opportunity to listen\, to speak\, and to notice what becomes visible when we slow down and attend together. \nAll are welcome who feel drawn to thoughtful conversation\, visual inquiry\, and the simple\, often overlooked moments that reveal a deeper belonging. \n\nDate: Wednesday\, January 28\, 2026 \nFormat: Interactive evening discussion with photographic inquiry \nFacilitators: Peggy and Bill Wittman \nSameness asks for less \nUnity asks for presence \nMore is already  \n\n Potluck begins at 6:30 pm.
