Some of the deepest human connections have always been made through music. Long before social media, podcasts, or even books, people gathered around fires, kitchen tables, and in community circles to sing together. A shared song has a unique way of turning strangers into friends and reminding us that we belong to something larger than ourselves.

Join us for an evening of live music, community participation, and shared enjoyment in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Wonderful Wednesday.

This special evening will feature a variety of musical styles, from heartfelt originals and folk favourites to Celtic-inspired melodies, medicine songs, acoustic performances, classic sing-alongs, and spontaneous musical offerings from members of our community.

Our Musical Director, Handy Andy, will be joined by fellow musicians for a performance that weaves together guitar, harmonica, fiddle, bass, and traditional Celtic influences. Additional performers will be added to the lineup as the evening approaches.

This is not simply a concert. It is an opportunity to experience music as it was enjoyed for most of human history: in community. Some songs will invite quiet listening. Others will encourage participation, with simple choruses and familiar melodies that everyone can join.

Music has a unique ability to bypass our differences and remind us of our shared humanity. Whether you come to perform, sing along, listen deeply, or simply enjoy the company of others, you are warmly welcome.

Musicians interested in sharing a song or short set are invited to connect with myself or Andy in advance so that we can thoughtfully coordinate the evening’s lineup.

As always, we begin with a shared potluck meal before settling into an evening of music, connection, and community.

Potluck: 6:30 PM

Music Circle: 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Location: South Etobicoke (near Kipling & Horner)

Contribution: By donation plus a food contribution for the potluck
