Seeking Aligned Partners: Bringing Serendipity Nature Sanctuary to Life
Over the past few months, a possibility has emerged that feels both exciting and time-sensitive.
I own a 50% interest in a unique 22-acre off-grid property in rural Caledon, approximately halfway between Brampton and Orangeville and only 45 minutes from downtown Toronto. Over many years, the property has evolved into something far more than a typical country property; with four residential buildings, several auxiliary buildings, solar power, established organic gardens, forest and meadow trails, and infrastructure that lends itself naturally to community living, retreats, regenerative agriculture, and self-sufficiency.
The other 50% owner is seeking to sell his interest. This creates a rare opportunity to determine whether enough aligned people exist to bring a larger vision to life before the property moves in a different direction.
For some time, I have been developing a vision for Serendipity Nature Sanctuary: a nature-based intentional community and retreat sanctuary where people can share resources, steward the land, grow food, develop practical skills, host retreats, and build meaningful community.
The purpose of this gathering is to determine whether there is sufficient interest, alignment, and financial capacity to move this vision forward.
While future residents, retreat leaders, facilitators, educators, and collaborators are welcome to express interest, this evening is primarily intended for those who may have the financial means and genuine desire to participate as investors or partners in the project.
