Inner Wisdom Intensive
A Full-Day Ceremonial Retreat for Deep Inner Inquiry
Saturday, January 31
10:00 am – 10:00 pm
⸻
Some insights require more than curiosity. They require time, safety, and a trustworthy container.
This full-day retreat is an invitation to slow down, deepen, and listen inwardly, supported by intentional structure, experienced facilitation, and the regulating presence of community.
⸻
The Inner Wisdom Intensive is a long-form ceremonial retreat designed for those who feel called to explore altered states of awareness with care rather than force, and depth rather than spectacle.
The day is intentionally timed near the full moon and the seasonal midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox; a threshold moment traditionally associated with inner illumination, renewal, and the stirring of new direction. This subtle convergence offers a natural energetic support for release, reflection, and reorientation.
Drawing on breathwork, sound, voice, rhythm, somatic awareness, ritual process, and conscious group holding, the retreat is shaped as a safe descent; allowing layers of identity, tension, and habitual patterning to soften, so deeper knowing can emerge.
This work is not about chasing peak experiences. It is about creating the conditions in which insight can arise organically and be meaningfully integrated.
⸻
The Nature of the Day
The retreat unfolds as a guided arc rather than a fixed schedule, allowing responsiveness to the group and the process as it develops.
Practices woven through the day may include:
• Extended breathwork journeys
• Medicine songs and shared vocal practice
• A curated sound journey led by Michael, using carefully selected instruments and musical sequences
• Gentle movement and somatic regulation
• Periods of silence and inner inquiry
• Group sharing and witnessed integration
• Ritual framing to support coherence and meaning
Non-drug altered-state practices form the structural foundation of the day, supporting safety, pacing, and nervous-system regulation throughout.
⸻
Nourishment & Fasting
This retreat is held as a juice fast day, supporting clarity, sensitivity, and embodied awareness.
High-quality organic juice is included as part of the retreat fee and will be provided throughout the day. Participants are invited to approach the fast as a gentle, supportive practice rather than a test of will.
Preparation guidance will be shared in advance to help participants assess personal readiness and participate in a way that feels appropriate for their bodies.
⸻
About the Container
Deep inner work requires more than intention: it requires safety, pacing, and relational trust.
This retreat is designed as a contained, small-group experience, with clear agreements, careful facilitation, and an emphasis on integration rather than intensity.
Participants are supported to engage at their own edge, honouring personal readiness rather than external expectation. The intention is not to push beyond limits, but to create a space where truth can emerge without overwhelm.
⸻

About the Facilitators
Mariel Camilleri brings decades of experience in somatic practice, breathwork, and deep process facilitation, with an emphasis on nervous-system safety, ethical containers, and long-term integration.
Michael Ionesco is a Yoga, Breathwork and Sound Healing practitioner whose work centres on presence, vibration and attuned listening. He is deeply intentional in curating the musical and sonic arc of the day, using sound and voice to support coherence, regulation, and depth.
Together, they are interested less in peak states and more in the relational and ritual conditions that allow insight to become embodied and lived.
