Community Gatherings

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS WEEKLY GATHERINGS

Wonderful Wednesdays are weekly community gatherings that nourish body, mind, and spirit through shared meals, meaningful dialogue, and embodied presence.

Each week, we come together to co-create a space of connection, curiosity, and care. We share a home-cooked* meal, explore a theme in respectful group conversation, and often include gentle practices to ground, inspire, or enliven.

My purpose is to create a safe, welcoming space where people can connect with themselves and each other at a deeper, more authentic level than is usual in everyday life.
Whether the evening includes laughter, reflection, storytelling, or shared silence: you are invited to bring your full self.

As the poet Rumi reminds us:

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving … it doesn’t matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair.”

All are welcome: just bring a healthy dish to share, an open heart, and a willingness to engage with presence.

*If you don’t like to cook, no problem! You can bring something most of us don’t make at home: cheese and fruit, a veggie tray, deli meats, or some tasty ethnic takeout are all welcome contributions.

🫶 Potluck begins at 6:30 pm. Please bring a healthy food contribution to share.

🌀 Circle begins at 7:30 pm

📍South Etobicoke studio. Address provided upon RSVP.

RSVP required. Message or text to save your seat.

Freedom Is a Feeling, Liberty Is a Law

This week we explore the deeper distinction between liberty (legal permission) and freedom (inner sovereignty). What does it mean to feel free, even when limited by circumstance? And how often do we stay trapped even when no one’s holding the door?

Changing the Story: Letting Go of Old Scripts and Making Space for the Life You Want

Some stories live in our bones. Others were handed down by family, culture or trauma. This Wednesday, we gather to honour the stories that shaped us and listen for the quiet voice inside that’s ready to tell a new one.
