Forgiveness and the Holy Instant

In the Holy Instant, time disappears. Past and future dissolve, and what remains is the presence of love. Forgiveness is the doorway; not condoning or forgetting, but releasing the weight of old grievances so the heart can be free.

Forgiveness is the key to peace. It does not mean excusing what has happened, nor does it mean forgetting. It means choosing to lay down the burden of carrying the past so we can live more fully in the present.

When forgiveness enters, grievances dissolve, and a doorway opens into what mystics have called the Holy Instant:  a timeless pause where love remains and peace is remembered. In this moment, the grip of time itself loosens, and we taste freedom.

This evening we will gather in community to explore forgiveness through gentle practices of reflection and presence. Together, we will invite release, renewal, and a moment of stillness beyond words.
