About Mariel

Body-Centered Healing Rooted in Experience, Presence, and Love

I’ve spent over four decades exploring the profound intelligence of the body and the ways it holds, and heals, our life experiences. My work is grounded in lived experience, deep listening, and an unwavering belief in the body’s capacity to heal when it feels safe, seen, and supported.

I began as a Registered Massage Therapist and later trained in multiple modalities of somatic and psychospiritual healing, including:

  •   Postural Integration (a deep tissue body-mind therapy related to Rolfing)
  •   Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy
  •   Gestalt Therapy
  •   Bioenergetics
  •   Clarity Breathwork
  •   Usui Reiki
  •   Cannabis-assisted bodywork & integration
  •   Ceremonial facilitation & community-based ritual

Although I am no longer a member of the College of Massage Therapists, my years of practice have deeply informed the way I hold space. Today, I work independently and intuitively, outside the clinical model, offering work that integrates body, breath, energy, emotion, and soul.

I am particularly drawn to supporting those who:

  •   Are in recovery from trauma, burnout, or high-stress living
  •   Feel called to explore consciousness, embodiment, and personal transformation
  •   Are navigating life transitions, grief, or spiritual emergence
  •   Value sacred use of plant medicine and want thoughtful integration

My space in South Etobicoke is warm, earthy, and real. There’s no white coat, no sterile table, just honest connection and deep support for whatever wants to move through you.

“When the body is heard, the soul speaks.”

You’re welcome here.
