A Mystic’s Journey: The Blending of Two Rivers

November 4 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

An Evening with Tony Molesworth

For most of his life, Tony Molesworth has travelled two parallel paths: one through music, comedy, theatre, spoken word, and stages around the world; the other through a lifelong exploration of spirituality, consciousness, and meaning.

Now those two rivers have become one.

A Mystic’s Journey is an intimate evening of original songs, stories, spoken word, bluesy banjo pickin’, mystical lyrics, irreverent humour, and what Tony affectionately calls “Hippy Crazy Wisdom.”

His work plays with perception, questions assumptions, and invites us to look again at what we think we know:

“Hidden right in front of me

A second world I’d never seen.”

Tony has created and performed seven one-man shows and has appeared in theatres, festivals, concert halls, casinos, and on television. Along the way, he has opened for performers including Leonard Cohen, Elvis Costello, Weird Al Yankovic, and Howie Mandel.

For Wonderful Wednesday, Tony will share approximately 50 minutes of mystical story songs, followed by an open conversation with the room.

His question for us:

How do you envision the New Earth, or Golden Age? And how do you want to serve, participate in, or help create it?

As one recent audience member put it:

“I had a very stressful day today. After your show, I feel very peaceful.”
